Bruce A. Behm

Bruce A. Behm established Quazar Capital Corporation in 1990. Quazar specializes in Mergers & Acquisitions, Debt Placement, Financial Advisory Services and Exit Strategies.

Prior to founding Quazar Capital Corporation, Bruce was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Churchill Business Credit. Churchill specialized in asset based lending for companies involved in mergers and acquisition, turnaround, and fast growth situations.

Prior to Churchill, Bruce served as Vice President of Corporate Banking and managed the Middle Market Commercial Lending Division of First Minnesota. Bruce was the first Loan Officer hired in their start-up operation. The Corporate Banking Department was approaching $300 million in loans and lines of credit before they were acquired by Norwest Bank.

Before First Minnesota, Bruce served as Account Executive with Commercial Credit Business Loans, focusing on mergers and acquisition financing in the Assets Based Lending Division, loan transaction size ranging from $2-$25 million. Bruce spent a total of eleven years with Commercial Credit in various lending and management positions in Utah, Washington, California, Oregon, and Minnesota.

Nick Schweim, Investment Banker

Nick Schweim, Investment Banker, joined the Quazar Team in 2008. Nick’s main focus is on Buy-side and Sell-side transactions. By working with the Owners of closely held companies, Nick provides advisory and analytical assistance throughout the sale or acquisition process. Because of his banking experience, Mr. Schweim has also become a primary point of contact for The Central Minnesota Growth & Transition Fund (The Growth Fund^SM) a sister company of Quazar Capital Corporation.

Prior to joining Quazar, Nick was a Commercial Banker in the Twin Cities metro and greater Minnesota area for nearly a decade. Nick earned his B.S. degree in Finance from Minnesota State University.

Katie Floro, Associate

Katie Floro joined Quazar as an Associate in 2011. Katie provides advisory, analysis, marketing, and research services for merger and acquisition clients. Internally, Katie directs marketing efforts and leads a number of special projects for Quazar.

Katie has been in the M&A field since 2008. Prior to joining Quazar, Katie was an Analyst/Project Manager at a business brokerage. In this role, Katie had much of the same analysis, marketing, and research responsibilities. Upon joining Quazar, Katie took on more of an advisory role in which she works directly with clients.

After college, Katie volunteered one year as an AmeriCorps VISTA representative. In this position, Katie worked for a non-profit legal aid in the area of housing law.

Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
