Bruce A. Behm established Quazar Capital Corporation in 1990. Quazar specializes in Mergers and Acquisitions, Debt Placement, Financial Advisory Services, and Exit Strategies.
Prior to founding Quazar Capital Corporation, Bruce was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Churchill Business Credit. Churchill specialized in asset based lending for companies involved in mergers and acquisition, turnaround, and fast growth situations.
Prior to Churchill, Bruce served as Vice President of Corporate Banking and managed the Middle Market Commercial Lending Division of First Minnesota. Bruce was the first Loan Officer hired in their start-up operation. The Corporate Banking Department was approaching $300 million in loans and lines of credit before they were acquired by Norwest Bank.
Before First Minnesota, Bruce served as Account Executive with Commercial Credit Business Loans, focusing on mergers and acquisition financing in the Assets Based Lending Division, loan transaction size ranging from $2-$25 million. Bruce spent a total of eleven years with Commercial Credit in various lending and management positions in Utah, Washington, California, Oregon, and Minnesota.
Nicole Behm-Koep joined Quazar Capital Corporation in January, 2013. Nicole’s primary focus is on managing client and prospect relationships, guiding clients through the acquisition process to a successful closing. In addition, she has oversight of Corporate Compliance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Accounting.
Prior to joining Quazar Nicole worked as the HR Business Partner to New Ventures for Ecumen, a non-profit provider of Senior Housing and Services, where she managed HR responsibilities for in-house and third party senior housing start-ups in multiple states, from proforma through building open. In her 6+ years at Ecumen, Nicole provided HR consulting to senior management, field leadership and employees.
Earlier in her career, Nicole held HR leadership positions at Next Day Gourmet, a division of US Foodservice, and Target Corporation.
Nicole has her Bachelor’s Degree in Global Business Management from Arizona State University.
Adam Webb joined Quazar Capital Corporation in September, 2014. Adam predominately focuses on administering client and prospect relationships, conducting industry research, and assisting clients through the entire acquisition process.
Prior to joining Quazar, Adam was a Senior Associate within the Risk Management Consulting group of McGladrey in Minneapolis, where he specialized in helping clients implement internal controls for Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance. Before that, Adam was an Internal Auditor at Cedar Fair, L.P.
Adam graduated summa cum laude from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Business Degree, majoring in Finance.
Dan Hendel joined Quazar Capital Corporation in September, 2015. Dan’s main focus is supporting clients from start to finish through the acquisition process.
Prior to joining Quazar, Dan was a Senior Financial Analyst at UnitedHealth Group in the Capital Reporting and Analysis group. Previous to that, Dan was a Market Research Analyst at Reliability Management Group and a Microbiologist for Nestle Health Science.
Dan has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bethel University and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
Brandon joined Quazar Capital Corporation in September 2016. He primarily focuses on conducting industry research and market analysis, developing buyer lists, facilitating communications between buyers and sellers, and creating marketing materials for clients.
Prior to joining Quazar, Brandon was an Investment Analyst Intern at Pohlad Companies where he assisted management in making investment decisions for their portfolio of companies.
Brandon graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. While attending the University of Minnesota, Brandon was heavily involved in his fraternity, Sigma Alpha Mu, and served as the Executive Academic Coordinator on the Interfraternal Council and was a member of the Greek academic honors society, the Order of Omega.
